• 2 cups all-purpose flour • ¾ cup granulated sugar • 1½ tsp baking soda • ½ tsp salt Wet Ingredients • 4 overripe bananas, mashed • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted • 2 eggs • 1½ tsp vanilla extract • 6 tbsp sour cream or plain yogurt Add In • ¾ cup chocolate chips Method 1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. 2. Whisk all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. 3. In a separate bowl, mash bananas then mix in butter, eggs, vanilla and sour cream until smooth. 4. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined — do not overmix. 5. Fold in chocolate chips. Reserve a few to sprinkle on top. 6. Pour into loaf pan, sprinkle reserved chips on top and bake for 60–70 mins until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Cool in pan for 10 mins then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
